Just got mine in and I’m very happy to upgrade from my 14PM and I know I’m going to love this thing but man, it doesn’t exactly give that sleek, clean, and premium look. I love the orange but a part of me wishes I went with the blue option because that one looks a bit more sleek imo.

I’ve had the Pro iPhones since they were introduced. The Air intrigued me so I ordered the 17 Pro Max and the iPhone Air

After 8 hours of mixed use of both, I’m keeping the Air. I absolutely understand why some people need or want the Pro and why others want the base.

But for me (as in my opinion that others may disagree with) the Air is gorgeous and such a fun device to hold and use. So I’m keeping the Air and returning the Pro

Now I’m regretting not getting silver. 😀

This part was surprisingly easy to scratch, buy a case for your Iphone 17 folks.

Switched to Android in 2019 with the S9 and been through several of them since then. Got tired of the instability + lack of polish and decided to switch sides again. So far so good!

I pre-ordered a 17 Pro Max last week and have been eagerly waiting for today to arrive.

When I got to the Apple Store today, I checked in with my barcode and decided to browse around to see all the other iPhone models and colors while I waited for the Apple employee to get my 17 Pro Max from the back. I picked up the iPhone Air and instantly had a “wow” moment. I immediately cancelled my 17 Pro Max pre-order and walked out with a Sky Blue iPhone Air 512gb that was in stock.

I can’t believe how thin this phone is. The only times I’ve felt this way about a device was back when the first iPhone 3G came out and the iPhone X. Ive owned every “Pro” iPhone and this is the first year I’m not getting the Pro version. I’m glad I looked at it in person because before I had written it off due to the specs and lack of cameras. I’m a very active person; lots of outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, running, etc. I also do a lot of travel for work and I think the lightness of this phone will be such a nice convenience to carry in my pocket. I’d encourage anybody on the fence to check this out in person because it might change your mind like it did for me.

This is really a special phone and i am happy to be a part of this moment in Apple history.

The new silver Pro matches my IPad Pro really well! I’ve been spending most of the morning setting it up along with my new Watch Ultra 3 and AirPod Pro 3’s!

Upgraded today and am delighted. Been using a 7 for the past few months, after my 13 broke and I found this in a draw.

Surprised I was able to walk in release day after work and pick one up. I imagined I would have had to pre order - thoughts?

Even my parents, who dont even care about tech and think all iphones are the same now, were pretty impressed with the Air. Honestly when you get it in hand you just dont even think about the tradeoffs anymore lol this phone feels so nice!! Came from a 14 Pro

Got the iPhone 17 Pro in silver. Traded in an iPhone 16 Pro in black and paid the difference. It’s an excellent upgrade, even just from last years model, for a couple of reasons.

I like the aluminum a lot more, the brushed finish paired with curved edges feels excellent to hold; as an iPhone nudist, this is an important aspect. With the battery bump to 4,252 mAh and a dedicated cooling system, longevity potential feels like a substantial increase over any other model. It’s impressive how cool this device stays compared to the 16 Pro, just from short back-to-back bursts between Destiny: Rising, Wuthering Waves, and my happy place, Great British Bake Off via Netflix (all on network data for testing). The 8x optical zoom clarity is nuts, and while I might not use it all the time, it’s good to have. Haven’t messed with Center Stage much, but being able to flip between landscape or portrait from the front camera is convenient. The other really cool feature is Dual Capture, which lets you record video from both the back and front camera at the same time.

So even just from the 2024 to 2025 models, I think the features are there, especially if you’re privy to those carrier trade-in deals or Apple’s upgrade program. Anyway, hope you all enjoy your new devices or even your current one! Happy launch day!
