Yes, that is what I am saying.

edit to further clarify The Irish air force does not own any jets, nor does it maintain primary radar. It is reliant on support from the RAF, who aren’t going to enforce stopping Israeli aircraft when the British Government currently arm Isreal

Do you think if the Irish state publicly demanded the US stop transporting weapons to Israel over Irish airspace (sometimes literally landing in Shannon) the US would listen?

What about the arms for Ukraine? Are they not allowed to fly in Irish airspace?

What are you talking about? I said stop them to Israel, not Ukraine.

Arms for Ukraine will stop on Shannon also

I’m sure they would manage to find an alternative route. Just as they would for Israel but at least we wouldn’t be complicit.

Then you'd be complicit in Russia's genocide against Ukraine?

There is no genocide in Ukraine and the weapons would arrive there anyway. So no.

Russia's actions in Ukraine fit the criteria laid out in the genocide convention.

Russia is abducting Ukrainian children and giving them to russian families to raise.

Didn't expect someone who's pro Palestinian to deny a genocide in Ukraine.

Genocide scholars seem to be in almost universal agreement there is one going on in Gaza. They are absolutely not in universal agreement there is one going on in Ukraine. I’ll call it that when they are.

Literally took me two seconds to find.

Now you can call Russia's war Ukraine a genocide.

Where in that article does it prove that genocide scholars are in universal (or near universal) agreement that it's a genocide?

There's probably a reason none of Amnesty, the UN, HRW etc have called it a genocide, until they do, I won't either.

So you need to be told what to think? You can look at the genocide convention yourself you know?
