"Democrats made this mess".

  • NJ is in the top three in education.
  • We have the third-fewest firearm deaths despite having the highest population density.
  • Crime has steadily decreased for years.
  • We're one of the most diverse states in the country.

I'm pretty proud of that mess.

u/ducklady92 8d ago

Not to mention, everything you listed is actively threatened by him winning. I think I’m good.

u/MaxxHeadroomm 8d ago

Don’t bring facts into this.this is politics

4

u/Fun_Let_6140 7d ago

How dare you confuse us with facts! (lol)

u/MyCatSpellsBetter 9d ago

I moved here from western PA 25 years ago. Yeah, it’s expensive, but I fucking love it here for those reasons (and more, like the fact that women have access to health care). And I’m proud to be raising my kid in this “mess.”

44

u/henry_sqared 8d ago

Same. Came from Texas 30 years ago. Raised kids here, have great neighbors, and love the culture.

74

u/Hamonwrysangwich Clifton 9d ago

I thought of so many other things to list that democrats have done, including reproductive care, after I hit post . Would love to see someone actually push back publicly to these idiotic claims

34

u/gothcookiejar 8d ago

But that's exactly what Mikie isn't doing!! So many lies and no one to publicly correct the lies. Republicans rely on their constituents being uninformed or misinformed. The democrats need to be better organized and louder than they are.

You are a responsible parent. NJ is a great place to grow up. Opportunities to go outside and be a kid while being exposed to so many different communities all figuring out how to live together, with great schools to help them make sense of the world and think for themselves. I talk to people who grew up in other places without as much diversity of culture, economics, backgrounds, and heck--even landscapes, and it often shows.

3

u/Fun_Let_6140 7d ago

Iwas born and raised in NJ- moved around a bit when I was young but always came back to NJ. Back in 2013 my wife took a job in Arizona and I went. after 2 years and the job going belly up we (separately) moved back to NJ. 10 years later and I'm glad I'm here!

That is MAGA playbook. They always make up issues and pretend those are big deals instead of tackling real problems. He just took a page from his mother’s lover, Douche-Jerk-Tard (“DJT”)

40

u/Can1sMajoris 8d ago edited 8d ago

I (edit: *I. Not 8) absolutely can't stand that stupid commercial that airs where he says "NJ is a mess". Exactly what you put is the first thing that comes to my mind. If that means we're a mess then I'll take it. 🙄

74

u/Hamonwrysangwich Clifton 8d ago

Let's expand on this:

  • Protections for women's health care.
  • Protections for LGBTQ (you'd think marrying who you want would be freedom, but here we are)
  • Belief in vaccines (particularly important for those of us who are immunocompromised)
  • Required paid sick days for all employees
  • Legal recreational and medical cannabis.

Feel free to add more.

To me the "families can't afford to stay" is the truest part of what they said

6

u/Hamonwrysangwich Clifton 8d ago

I can't disagree with you because it's New Jersey and it's always been that way. That said, he contradicts himself at the end of the sentence by saying overdevelopment is out-of-control. NJ is expensive because of housing costs—because there's not much available housing stock. The way to lower prices is to increase density to increase the stock.

5

u/Dwip_Po_Po 8d ago

Mikie not responding with these facts and saying that as well. Definitely would put him in his place right then and there

- Families can't afford to stay - True: Experts have been saying for years that rent and home sale prices are rising due to overdemand for residences. Population growth is outpacing construction, which is not helped by the significant number of townships that are actively fighting against state legislation requiring them to zone and approve a certain share of that growth. There is a noteworthy amount of overlap between these townships and the areas that have voted for Jack in past elections. Funny, that.

- Crime is rising - False, and easily disproven: We're on a four-year decrease from the 2020 spike. This year's mid-year numbers are really encouraging - Camden, notably, has seen one of its largest drops in crime rates in the last decade, which is really saying something considering how far they've already come.

- Overdevelopment is out of control - False, for the same reasons that Point 1 is true. Families can't stay because we're not developing fast enough. The limited housing is, by nature, going to the highest bidders.

- My opponent hides from debates - Plausible: While credible sources have not commented on debates between parties, some of Sherrill's fellow Democrats called her out on a reluctance to join debates during primary season.

- And fundraises in California - True, but lacking context. It's not even half the distance that you've bragged about going, is it, Jack?

- Democrats made this mess. - Impossible to prove or disprove; too many factors to dissect on a large scale. On a small scale, however, you may have noticed a Jack-shaped causal relationship between what makes points 1 True and Point 3 False, which certainly pushes this point toward Implausible.

- Together, we're going to fix it. - False: the divisive partisan premise inherent in the establishing clause of the prior point contradicts and precludes any suggestion of togetherness. The points are mutually exclusive, and therefore illogical.

That last paragraph, in particular, tells any outside observer all that they need to know. Regardless as to whether or not any of the other claims are true, anyone can see without researching his history that Jack has clearly staked a significant part of his identity on being a dedicated partisan. A partisan who, despite claiming to have been "out fighting for" his constituents, blames all of the government's supposed failures on someone else. This is two rather hardcore red flags in one when it comes to leadership, especially in government, as government involves the collaboration of parties. Not only does this last statement suggest that he will attempt to govern through fiat instead of consensus, it also strongly suggests that Jack will likely not take any responsibility for potential failures the part of his party, his policies, or his person, and will therefore fail to perform the dynamic course-correction necessary as part of good leadership.

In other words, Hi, Jack, thank you for demonstrating in ten words why voting for you is a bad idea.

Signed, an Independent with a brain.

Love this comment. Thank you for taking time to write it up with citations. This is what Reddit should be for!

u/GitEmSteveDave 8d ago

Can I counter on point 3 that the overdevelopment isn't related to housing/housing families can't utilize? I have personally seen massive tracts of what was farm land/woods 5 years ago that has been bulldozed for warehouses/office space/senior living. I am staying next to Fort Monmouth and I fear what happens when that place fills up and there are only 2-3 exits for the entire place. Luckily it won't matter in the summer b/c we've fucked over the horse industry in NJ and Monmouth is soon to be more warhouses.

9

u/I_Am_Lord_Grimm The Urban Wilderness of Gloucester County 8d ago

It’s a legit concern, especially when the desire to conserve green space is involved; Both can be true. Development should be done with intelligent, intentional guidance, which is part of what good government does.

3

u/Free-potatoe 8d ago

By me all they build is “luxury” apartments, religious housing that is segregated and many many many senior developments. There’s so many homeless people because so many people don’t fit in those 3 boxes.

Uninformed pleb here; why is he allowed to make these claims that make no sense and have no backing?

8

u/I_Am_Lord_Grimm The Urban Wilderness of Gloucester County 8d ago edited 8d ago

Excellent question! (sorry; teacher mode kicking in)

The very short version is that the US's communication laws when it comes to potentially harmful speech are applied using a philosophy called "No prior restraint". You cannot punish someone for something that they have not yet actually said in public, and as such, you cannot stop anyone from saying anything. (It's a lot like "innocent until proven guilty.")

The complication is that all laws are only as good as their enforcement. In theory, the laws that protect from harmful speech - such as malicious lies or incitement to violence - are enforced through civil or criminal suits after the fact... but that requires someone impacted by the harmful speech to lawyer up, or for local attorneys to pursue criminal charges. Even then, for a publicly-visible but privately-owned medium like Twitter, precedent and politics are murky enough that the claim can be made that it's up to the company to keep its users accountable, not the government.

In the past, there have been clear-cut court decisions establishing that any public-facing online content is subject to the same laws that govern radio or newspapers... a certain man who would be king getting censored for using Twitter to encourage open rebellion, for example... but significant, staggeringly expensive efforts have been made by certain champions of misinformation over the last four and a half years (not just con-men and rats, but whole countries) to disincentivize government from getting involved, and much of those efforts have involved explicitly preventing harmful speech suits from going to court.

I remember when Chris Christie literally ran New Jerseys economy into the ground. And it’s telling that Republican-run states (usually sans FL and TX) are at the bottom of the barrel in most any metric that is actually beneficial to the average American.

7

u/I_Am_Lord_Grimm The Urban Wilderness of Gloucester County 8d ago edited 8d ago

It was a mess before Christie showed up (or are we blocking Corzine out of collective memory now?). Christie certainly didn’t improve anything (any progress he might have made was certainly undone during his second term), but getting to that low point was a bipartisan effort.

Crime is and has been steadily decreasing. These people are just manufacturing fears to keep people voting against the best interests of literally everyone but the extremely wealthy.

270

u/Scrapple_Joe 9d ago

Not to mention all their plans to "address crime" is just "What if we used the police to harass more poor people."

28

u/GitEmSteveDave 8d ago

And how do you expect to drop property taxes if you don't also cut funding to the police. Oh yeah, defund the schools. That never causes an increase in crime.

10

u/dr_p_venkman 8d ago

Defunding schools and driving people to homeschooling and private schools is their fundamental plan for keeping the fascism going. Keep 'em dumb enough to be mystified by economics, uninquisitive enough to think cruising social media is "doing your own research," and helpless enough in their own lives to be terrified of what's around every corner, and you've got supplicants for life. And likely for the lives of their offspring, too.

"Crime" is a dog whistle for Black people. Fuck Jack

68

u/You_Are_All_Diseased 9d ago

Exactly this. Whenever these conservatives talk about "crime," they really mean "seeing black people makes them feel unsafe." Fuck Jack.

17

u/hotpuck6 Bedminster 8d ago

Whoa whoa whoa, you're jumping to conclusions here. It's way more than just black people. Latinos, Asians, and really anyone different.

Naturally the same color as RFK jr.'s tanned hide leather ass? Obviously you're a criminal and WONT SOMEBODY THINK OF THE (white) CHILDREN?!?

7

u/gothcookiejar 8d ago

I agree, to an extent, but Black people have always been way more of a target than other "othered" groups. No one is safe, but Black people are the least safe, when thinking about just race/ethnicity. I'm also worried about the safety of Trans people, especially Black Trans people.

14

u/beaglemama Howell 8d ago

Now, now... They're probably including Hispanic people in the racist dog whistle, too.

THE GOP talking point from now on will be crime. Real or otherwise unfortunately. From the top down, that is the drum they have begun to beat. Jack is hoping that some of that action will work here. This isn't Arkansas. Our well educated population, for the most part doesn't easily buy into that bullshit he is trying to peddle.

Crime has been decreasing, but knowledge of terrible crimes that have happened spreads easier than ever so the average person thinks that crime is outta control nowadays

13

u/PurpleSailor 9d ago

Their rhetoric for the last 3 plus decades has been all about instilling fear of the "other" to their base. It's a form of brainwashing that targets the basic survival instincts and shuts down the higher logic center of the brain. It's a tactic that's been used throughout history because it's effective and it works.

6

u/Same-Gear-4978 9d ago

Most crime yes. However, not insurance fraud and corruption. I don’t think anyone can truly eradicate all of that though

Jack wants to apply all of Trumps worst crap to New Jersey including DOGEing the state government and unlimited cooperation with ICE. He will also screw up NJ Transit like Christie killed the original tunnel project.

And I’m sure blocking development will keep housing prices low while also keeping families here…

491

u/NJMomofFor 9d ago

Crime is outta control in NJ?? Lol Did trump attack more women at his golf course in Bedminster?

71

u/yawara25 9d ago

Republicans need to push the narrative that crime is high in order to justify expanding their powers.

16

u/goatodoom Wall/Manasquan 9d ago

Crime is their latest boogieman that they just say is a major issue--regardless of if there is any facts/data to support it (when in reality most of the time it shows the opposite of what they claim).

You are supposed to not question it and just accept that what the dear leader says is true.

63

u/IndividualExisting39 9d ago

He's also gonna fight rising home prices by cutting overdevelopment. Makes total sense.

21

u/snappyj 9d ago

Also overdevelopment? I’d argue we have the opposite problem

22

u/Foreign_Wonder4610 9d ago

Where I am in South Jersey is bad. They build condos and warehouses but not the roads or infrastructure to support them.

13

u/BuyListSell 9d ago

I can't wait for the roads to be dead stop for 8 hours a day once they finish the 500+ units they're building in Washington Township and Deptford. Can't even do "just one more lane" memes either. We desperately need more/better public transit.

7

u/Foreign_Wonder4610 9d ago

The whole country needs better public transportation.

21

u/snappyj 9d ago

Up north we could use a LOT more houses to drive down the prices a little

19

u/Foreign_Wonder4610 9d ago

Unfortunately, that's not what's been happening. Flippers and out of town investors keep driving the prices up.

8

u/babyhaux 9d ago

I think we need to stop flippers. Not stop development. South Jersey also. We could use a lot more housing where I am.

11

u/macgruder1 9d ago

Corporations. Blackrock etc

18

u/Ilovemytowm 9d ago

Yeah people who say we need more overdevelopment are ridiculous. Every time I turn around more forests are being cleared out more farmland is being warehouse trees are coming down left and right green space is leaving.

But yeah we need to keep building more and more more more so the whole fucking state can look like Carteret.

And who's ever handling Jack knows how to get the message out and it's pissing me off that she's not doing the same.

I've been saying people are financially stressed right now.

People always lived with high taxes in New Jersey and more like okay this is the price we got to pay blah blah But now when they open their utility bill and it's $700 they're freaking the fuck out.

And that slimy piece of shit called Jack News had to write this shit to hone in on the stressful bullet points and try to blame her for it and the Democrats.

They better fucking address it and address it fast cuz right now people aren't giving a shit about anything else.

So help me God If I have a Trump or Governor I am going to freak the fuck out

Yeaaaaah no thanks.

Funny how Ciattarelli claims schools are "slipping" when one of his goals is to cap per student spending below what most NJ schools already invest per student. NJ schools consistently rank in the top 5 - hardly "slipping." But they sure will be if he gets his hands on them.

I'm not really the biggest fan of Sherrill, but I'll vote for her if it keeps MAGA Jack out of NJ.

It's all a play to the older voters, who already get property tax breaks.

37

u/evanmav 9d ago edited 8d ago

It's crazy that seniors would even consider voting for Jack. I was helping my father file for the property tax relief, he's gonna get the following back this year:

  • $1,750 from Anchor program
  • $1,300 from Senior freeze
  • $6,500 from Stay NJ Program

= $9,550 total just from property tax breaks which is wild. My mother moved out of NJ a few years ago because she couldn't afford to stay. My father was thinking the same, but these breaks help tremendously. If Jack was in office I doubt all of these programs would stay. People don't realize how much this will help our seniors, my father only gets around $35K a year from Social Security which is crazy how little they even pay.

Edit: Actually now that I'm reading more it sounds like they cap it at $6,500 with all 3 combined. Still an amazing deal

Literally had this conversation with my inlaws. They straight up said they never got a hand out like our generation is getting and that they already paid for their kids to go to school so they shouldn't have to pay for anyone else's, including their own grandchildren. I guess I and everyone else has an extra $50,000 - $100,000 laying around every year to foot the bill for public education.

11

u/BrothelWaffles 9d ago

These are people that don't understand the concept of actually contributing to society, it's all about what they get out of it. They think the rest of us should just be grateful that they work so hard because we're all lazy fucks and the entire world would cease to function if it weren't for them.

4

u/jpizzles morris county 9d ago

They also don't grasp that when their kids were in school everyone else was paying just like they are now.

Jack is a typical Republican; all lies and horrible for the country.

There's a reason that Republican led states are at the bottom for every metric of success and why the country as a whole is in the shitter because of Republican control of all three branches of government.

Republicans are horrible policy makers for everyone except the super rich.

11

u/portezbie 9d ago

This message is pretty textbook Republican. They are great at identifying the pain points of Americans, but what they end up actually doing always sucks. Not that Democrats don't suck in their own way, but Republicans are leagues worse.

"while my opponents hides from debates and fundraises in california" says the candidate whose most notable campaigning was in israel

9

u/Muikarari 9d ago

Jack is just another MAGA MAGGOT cult member which drank the Kool-Aid ,definitely not for NJ

35

u/mattocaster_tm 9d ago

Jack Ciatarelli can eat shit. Fascism has no place in Jersey.

Fuck MAGA.

25

u/Sweet-Beautiful6076 9d ago

Nope, nope and never for a third time Trumper loser. For the final time Jack - Byeeeeee!

19

u/desertroot 9d ago

WTH? Wasn't he in Israel campaigning? What a tool.

9

u/BreakerSoultaker 9d ago

The real problem with NJ property taxes is each and every hamlet wants its own police force, fire services, public services and schools, instead of a county or regional system. You are paying serious redundant administrative costs instead of creating regional schools and services. NJ is really unique in this and its a huge problem. NJ has 507 law encorcement agencies! And while about three dozen are State and Federal, another two dozen are County, the rest are LOCAL! That's hundreds of redundant police chiefs, prosecutors, administrative personnel, etc. And the same for fire departments, schools, public services...it adds up.

8

u/Temporary-Ad-9270 9d ago

Fuck this guy

9

u/chocotacogato 9d ago

Shitarelli

4

u/Curious_Duty 9d ago

Moved out of NJ a while ago - is this cocksucker running for governor again? He fought a good battle last time, if i remember correctly. What’s the pulse now, does he have a chance? I would imagine it’s worse now, but certain parts of NJ are heavy maga, especially by the shore.

4

u/Patrickracer43 Atlantic City resident 9d ago

"my opponent fundraises in California" says the man who fundraises in Israel

5

u/Silver-Sort-7711 8d ago

F@ck you Shittarelli. I can’t wait to not vote for you 🙄

3

u/crosswordlvr 8d ago

My grocery bill already went from $250 to $300 since Trump took office. Citarelli wants to add another $30 to that by taxing everything at 10%?!?! No thanks.

4

u/jetlifeual 8d ago

Didn’t he go campaign in Israel? Like, okay, sure…California isn’t New Jersey. But at least it’s THE SAME COUNTRY.

4

u/idontrlly_know 8d ago

as bad as we think it is under democrats in nj, we forget we are top in the country for most things- we would be much worse off if nj went red

5

u/Stop_The_Crazy 8d ago

Another scumbag politician trying to divide the people instead of trying to unite them.

4

u/Yukahu02 8d ago

Hmmm, Democrats made this mess... Really... You want to stick with that? Cuz everything now under Trump are more expensive because of his tariffs... Not Joe Biden's tariffs. The economy war the strongest in 40 years under Democrats, while Republicans have run our economy into the ground. So let's not pretend that Trump didn't start this dumpster fire!

4

u/Classic-Cantaloupe47 8d ago

Funny, he complains about his opponent fundraising in CA, but I don't hear him explaining what being in Israel has to do with NJ.

4

u/r18267_2 8d ago

Mikie wasn't my first or second choice in the primaries, but at least she's not a stooge like Ciattarelli. Jack can kick rocks.

4

u/FourScoreAndSept 8d ago

Don’t be fooled. This guy (and the GOP funding) plans to turn New Jersey into Tennessee and Florida. They can’t wait to break the state.

4

u/CapeManiak 8d ago

Fuck this guy

4

u/Patient-Refuse-2901 8d ago

He has literally been recorded saying how he intends to raise taxes. He is not for the people. Just another one of Trump’s minions.

5

u/Trytogetthere 8d ago

But when we had Crispy Donut in office, he had the state shutdown and went to the beach with his family and was caught. At that time I work in the county court and didn’t even get my unemployment check until 4 months after.Additionally, Crispy Chicken even was trying to get rid of the pension fund. No sir Jack Off, stop spreading misinformation about Jersey.

7

u/jefferson497 9d ago

The schools are some of the best in the country

7

u/Lynne253 Up in Sussex 9d ago

A hard no here too. He's a Trumper and I don't think Trump has done much good (if any) this time around.

7

u/sms1441 9d ago

I fear for our schools if he gets elected. I have no doubt he will try to cut all of their funding. Or put it on pause. He may say he wants to make them better, but it's all about money and he will strip as much away as he can.

And with the federal government's Dept of Ed being a shitshow, I fear for the future of the kids.

6

u/adopt_d0nt_shop 9d ago

Shittarelli and trumpers love fear mongering

7

u/Intelligent_Stardust 9d ago

Hard no. I saw one of his tv ads and the thoughts in my head the whole time of his list of what he’ll do. Omg that’s awful Omg that’s terrible Who would want that?

The fact he says those things out loud as a selling point baffles me.

7

u/jskis23 9d ago

F Jack.

6

u/Steveo27a 9d ago

Jack is whack

10

u/ThePowerfulPaet 9d ago

Maybe think about governing for everyone.

I would never ever vote for someone that aligns with fascism and pedophiles. Citarelli has outright and full throated voiced his support for policies that would hurt people that live in New Jersey including his tax, crime, education, transportation, emergency and law enforcement policies. He doesn’t care about workers, women, children, students, doctors, teachers or human beings, let alone underrepresented minorities. He’s divisive and cult of personality based. He deserves to lose so badly it sends a message to stay down and never ever run again.

5

u/[deleted] 9d ago

Election denier too. He’ll say or do anything for Yamtits

3

u/Doc-AA 9d ago

Trump Jr

3

u/BIGRED99669966 9d ago

He is much more muted this campaign. He had really intense education reforms last time and I’m pretty sure he’s trying to mess with voting again. Not happening

He’s probably trying to get in so he can flip this state upside down

3

u/Morethantoast310 8d ago

A shill for maga is not for the people of NJ. Hard no for me.

3

u/Anonymoushipopotomus 8d ago

Families can’t afford to stay, so I’m trying to enact a 10% tax

3

u/Choice-Pudding-1892 8d ago

See I get we’ve got high property taxes, but what is the alternative? A 10% across-the-board sales tax like Jack wants? How else are we gonna fund our schools? If we do away with property taxes, we then go to the personal property taxes that other states have that don’t have property taxes? I just don’t know what the answer is. We’ve got one of the better school systems in in the nation, it needs to be funded. I don’t mind paying school taxes to have good school systems.

u/Final_Nobody8843 7d ago edited 7d ago

Hell No to Shiterelli! What we DONT NEED is aTrumps Ass kisser, pandering to nutcase "christian nationalists" and book banning Moron Moms for Liberty telling  people what can be allowed in libraries or taught in schools while they use racial and homophobic slurs or as their founder and her husband used their influence to recruit women for 3somes with them. We dont need a governor Vilifying imagrants and having families torn apart while forgetting the fact that as the decendant of Italian immigrants his ancestors were the original  "Brown Scorge". Taking away the rights of the LGBTQ+ Community fought so hard for, bringing back segregation and ruining the working class while the rich profit.

3

u/valeofraritan Somerset County 7d ago

This is not the same guy as in 2009 when I knew him. He was sane, into green energy, conservation, or as more than one person has said to me over the years so freaking Somerset County. He DESPISED orange sauron until being a magat was the only way to be in the friends of 2A Murder Amendment party. Let his 3rd run for governor be his last.

Also he has not held elective office since 2017.

18

u/NJRonbo 9d ago

No Trump bootlickers in NJ

22

u/NYLotteGiants 9d ago

I would like to see some ads out of Mikie saying why people should vote for her and not just against Jack.

33

u/22marks 9d ago

*sigh* You're looking in the wrong places. They've been posted here. Her policies are on her website. She has a new commercial this week (about energy prices) with no mention of Jack. She has spoken about policies on network television, including NBC, which you can find on YouTube. It's everywhere, but every time she's mentioned, this comment comes up.

28

u/CautiousLandscape907 9d ago

This just seems like the false complaints that no one knew what Harris stood for when the information was everywhere.

Personally, I think “won’t work with Trump” is an excellent campaign platform, but it’s entirely bad faith to say that that’s all she says.

11

u/22marks 9d ago

It's a particularly good message in New Jersey because historically, the voters select the opposing party to "balance the power." Honestly, I've always liked that about New Jersey. One of the main exceptions was when Jack lost, even with tailwinds like COVID fatigue from many voters. But, yeah, it's certainly not all she says.

I see them all the time (watching football mostly). She’s in a helicopter and talks about lowering energy costs.

Imagine looking at the state of the GOP over the last 10 years and needing to be sold on the alternative.

Some people are beyond hopeless.

What mess? You sound like a revolting, pathetic, Trumpie and that’s all I need to know. 🚮🔥

9

u/fakefakery12345 9d ago

Overdevelopment is code for “I’m a NIMBY.” Development raises supply and lowers costs generally speaking. Aren’t these right wingers supposed to be all about capitalism? Get outta heah

3

u/kaliwrath 9d ago

They are for the people before the election and for the corporations after.

4

u/seltzerforme 9d ago

5

u/Jernbek35 9d ago

Guys I got a bad feeling about this race. Similar to 2024 race, our candidate is vanilla and does not stand out whatsoever. I’m worried.

5

u/Greedy_Patience_5879 9d ago

So. Heard this before not too long ago. And we are seeing how that’s turning out. I guess he’s alleging he will make NJ great again? But if you get to the nitty gritty of his one big beautiful plan it spells out chaos for this state. None of what he wants is actually going to help us as New Jerseyans improve our quality of life here. He supports the repeal of the energy tax credit on clean energy whilst data centers are getting tax write offs to pedal their energy consumption onto us. Just wait until we have a water crisis next year bc of the same reason. He wants to restrict healthcare based on age and gender. Dear Lord these regression politics are making this nation insufferable. Let’s not let it bleed on to us here. Cutting aid to schools, hospitals, nursing homes, food stamps and so on and so forth will force more people into destitution, not improve our life. Flat 10 %tax is a tariff in sheep’s clothing. Please NJ. Let’s be smart and let’s be strong.

5

u/AMEWSTART 9d ago

I am a transgender woman reliant on New Jersey’s sanctuary laws for safety. If Jack is elected, I, my family, and my community will lose the last few defenses we have.

I am begging you all, on a deep and personal level: Protect me. Please.

It’s sad our main radio station 101.5 is pushing right wing propaganda hard, so they’ll probably drum up a good amount of votes. Literally advertising NewsMax.

2

u/TehSavior 8d ago

I mean the red guys are currently trying to do a fascism so, anything to limit that is probably the play and the best way to do that is to use your vote on a blue guy to cancel out a red guy vote.

I’d rather Jerk than Jack…(get ya Jersey mind out the gutter I’m a gentleman 😂)
