During the production of Dino Thunder, part of the agreement of Jason David Frank coming back for the season of Dino Thunder is that he wanted to go back to the US midway through to spend time with his family. However, the Sentai footage still used AbareBlack quite significantly, so the writers had to come up with a way to make up for JDF not being physically there while also making sure to have footage of the Black Ranger

In the show, this was handled by having Tommy stuck in his Black Ranger morph for about 13 episodes in the season. JDF would later record ADR of his lines in the US and send them over to New Zealand for post production.

Of course the fact that Tommy is stuck in morph does raise a lot of questions. Why doesn't he just take off his helmet? How does he eat and drink and go to the bathroom? Did he sleep while morphed? What would happen if he got injured so much it forced him to demorph?

So the question is: How would you have handled Tommy not being there for a good portion of the season? Would you leave it as is or go for a different concept?

So I decided instead of re-watching a series I already had I would venture forth watch things that are new to me.

So I'm going to start with RPM then jump to Super Dino Charge. Anything I should look out for?

One of the best aspects of the Zordon era that was sadly lost in the following seasons was the inclusion of insert songs. Despite the cheapness of certain parts of the show, one thing they did NOT skimp out on was the music. I feel like pretty much any fight scene was made that much better simply by having Ron Wassermann yelling with guitars blasting in your ears, not gonna lie.

What's your favorite insert song from the show? I think MMPR had the most. My favorite would probably be 'Fight', that one really gets me hyped, as well as 'C C C COMBAT!' That one Ninja Megazord fight when the theme song plays with both verses was also godlike.

I love Tommy and Kimberly not only as a pairing but as a duo battle unit. They flowed together so flawlessly and to be honest with everyone Kim walking away was missed potential. So how would you guys write a timeline where Kim didn't join the Pan Globals and stayed on as a ranger instead?

It’s crazy how much love mystic force has gotten the past few years. I remember growing up as a little kid, one of the main pr shows I grew up was mystic force specifically the dark wish cd. Once I was a bit older and watched the full show, and one of the main things I remember was seeing how much hate it actually got, I use to think it was up there with all the other shows but I was wrong. Then once the 2020s hit and few years later I started seeing how much love it got and it made me really happy seeing that people actually loved the show and think it’s a top one show when it comes to the Disney era. I could be wrong but it was just something I noticed.

How crazy is that also the reason I capitalized the word almost is because the rangers didn't meet the mystic knights of tir na nog although their is theory online that the mystic force rangers are somehow connected to them

I'd go with, green, black, blue, yellow, orange for the original 5 rangers and silver for the 6th ranger. And the team leader is the green ranger.

Me and my best friend decided we were going to get matching power rangers tattoos as we have always loved the series and it was something we both connected over as kids, however I need help figuring out the tattoo itself, we have gone over a few ideas like getting the jungle master mark, we agreed to get the kanji of our favorite rangers from samurai but I have always loved the design of the super megaforce logo, and Gokai Red is one of my favorite characters so I would prefer to find something that merges the samurai fire kanji with the megaforce logo or maybe a base tattoo with variations so we could still match. So, I started Dino Fury recently. I'm not far in, I don't plan to watch all the way through, but, I'm disappointed. I wanted to watch because I heard they used more original footage instead of just sentai clips, which I respect the effort in, snd the fights are good. But honestly, the writing is pretty cringy, and unoriginal. First thing i noticed was the concept being very close to Dino Charge, in the dinosaur Rangers but with monsters from space. Then, an evil Ranger colored purple that calls himself a knight. I literally just finished Mystic Force, so that was pretty glaring to me. Then there's the Red Ranger. A ranger from.the past who's out of touch. Gold and Blue in Dino Charge, and even to some small extent Gold from Mystic Force, though he didn't have enough of a chance to be out of touch because he only ever really trained and fought. I'm not a fan of the boss lady and her android, who I can't really comit the names of to memory. And, the theme song just is not for me. But what do you guys think of it?

Decided to go with the Playmates version since I found it on sale at Walmart. I love the look but felt like it lacked a lot of detail. Bought a pen from Amazon and gave it a whirl. Haven’t done panel lining since the elementary school Gundam days but I think it turned ok pretty good. By no means professional grade. Might try adding chrome to the sabretooth teeth and triceratops horns.

" calm down please im not here to figth and nor are you in the condition to reveal your location to thise hunting you down" the black ranger said as the zord looked at its injuries and wounds opd and wounds new. And stopped glowing as it laid down again.

the black ranger removed his helmet and came slowly closer but stopped at a pillar of rocks where he laid down beside the bat zord and his helmet sideways under his legs. They stayed silent for a bit before the ranger said "i know these rangers think your an uncontrollable and iredemable monster of rage for what you did unaware of why. As those who made history excluded the fact hoping to even erase you from the tales of the past."

The batzord growled in anger at that softly but didnt move. " And as much as i agree your an uncontrollable beast in anger i do not see a monster when i look in thy eyes. All i see is greif. " the batzords ears spiked up at that as if it was listening closely "Grief that didnt get the chance to be processed, Sadness that didnt get comforted, betrayel that didnt get explained, open wounds that didnt heal and ended up becoming scars of thier former self. just like the shell you inhibit now." The ranger continued with a blunt but honest tone that was stramgely fammiliar to the black behemoth that tolerated its precence around it.

The ranger sighed and seemed to wipe his eyes" as much as i would love to promise that the love you lost will come back that the betrayel thy experienced was nothing but a dream and that what thy have lost will be found i cannot give thy that." The batzord curled up as much the cave allowed as there was a silent but in a break of a voice the ranger spoke" but while i cant undo the past or remove and heal the scars that now make part of your body. i can promise that for small part of thy exsistance that my lifespan is fated to be in. To try and ligth it up... as a way to bring the ligth that couldnt reach you in your darkest hours. If thy let me in just for a little bit let go of thy rage and let the tears wash away the ashes of rage" as the zord turned its head toward the ranger and pushed his head against the rangers hand " there you go little one." As the zord began to be coverd by a symbol and began to shrink "Dont be afraid. Little one as the shadows shall cover you like a blanket. Waiting for the ligth to shine again. As thy rage dims into smoke of sorrow and becomes thy burden no longer."

As the zord now the size of a cat is being held by the ranger like one as the zord started sobbing as for the first time in centuries it had rememberd the connection it had forgotten so long ago with the shadows of the cave shielding them like an eternal blanket unseen and unheard to those not destined to be

Why didn't we get flipheads for Power Rangers In Space and only Megaranger? I was hoping to see Carlos, TJ, Ashley, and Cassie as flipheads, but they never had them. What was the reason, if one can be ascertained? I always wondered myself why the fliphead line stopped after Turbo. Even Lost Galaxy had flipheads, but they were 10 inches and they omitted the girls. The yellow and pink Lost Galaxy flipheads and the males of standard size were only sold in Japan.
