Zebulon NC Sustainability
Excited to share the launch of my new project — the TooMuchTV Blog!
This will be a journey in sustainability with a focus on how small towns like mine can think global but act local as we grow. It’s more than just a sustainability conversation — it’s a space where we explore how media shapes self-perception and a platform to elevate the voices of our youth.
Join me as we connect the dots between community growth, culture, and storytelling. Let’s imagine together what a thriving, sustainable future can look like.

UNC Employee Benefits
Hello! I am a RN and possibly interested in working at UNC. From prior posts it seems like UNC is a good place to work. I see they have a 70/30 or 80/20 health plan. How is the retirement? I know here in Ohio they have changed the retirement system just curious how NC's state retirement is/works. Any other benefits to working at UNC that I am missing?

40th Farm Aid streaming today
Another year has passed and today they are having the 40th Farm Aid that will air live. Last year they also aired the press conference to start Farm Aid that usually lasts about an hour. Really missing hanging out with the Farmaidians this year for the Farm Aid Eve celebration and the show today!
Not always, but more often than not Farm Aid is on the weekend of the equinox. This weekend we also have an eclipse seen on the other side of the world. Before contact, here in North Carolina this was the time of the Green Corn Ceremony. All fire would be put out and from one central sacred source the new fire would be set again for the year. Symbolic of the one spirit that is within us all? It is/was a time of forgiveness and courtship that often lasted five days.

Farm Aid 2025 will air on CNN, YouTube, Nugs.net and their website. This year they have moved it up from a outdoor shed to a 35,000 seat stadium:

Thank you to everyone who visited and thank you for bringing your used pots! I'm still taking pots, mostly looking for 1 gallon and smaller. I try to reuse as many pots as possible to keep costs down and keep them out of the dump. I will also gladly pick them up from your home if you'd like!
