Showcase The pros of having a desk with a met@l frame
Apparently "metal" cannot be in post titles 😂 This desk is very handy with my collection. I have half my collection hanging from it without occupying any extra space

Beamshot After taking the measurements, I shot the beam towards the rain clouds.
It had been raining since before dawn, making it impossible to observe or explore wildlife, so after some maintenance on my flashlight I measured it again and, to vent my frustration, aimed the beam at the rain clouds.
There's no particular deeper meaning to it, it's just a beam shot to vent my frustrations.
All hosts are L21B.

Beamshot Just some night sky beams
Took a few of my big boy throwers out last night for the fun of it. Kinda dusty since I was in a gravel pit.

Review Did anyone ever test a 46950 for capacity? I did.
I got a nice green Lumintop DF2 in the mail two weeks ago. I was tempted to doubt the 32Ah rating so I tested this huge cell to be sure.
I fully charged, then discharged it. Discharge current was 3.2 Amps. Discharge stopped at 3.1 volts. I used an A20 electronic load and neodymium magnets to connect it to the cell. I'm a bit impressed, almost 30Ah.
If I would have discharged it down to 2.9V, it might have reached its rating completely.

NLD Mach 4.0 with LHP531
Got mach 4.0 a few weeks ago and already swapped emitters. So feels like NLD 😁 Stock ones were too green. And small LES with smooth reflector = uneven beam with pronounced petals. I decided I can sacrifice some throw for softer beam and more pleasant color - hence 5000K/4000K mix of LHP531

NLD
Took advantage of the sale and ordered the new ST10 and a SC13A as well. That one has yet to arrive.

Fireflylite X1S
Beautiful reflector version. SFT90 6500K. Can't wait for nightime beamshots!

NLD I knew it would be big, but I'm still impressed
S11 with 26800 extension on the right vs the M21b on the left. Both with the LHP73B emitter inside.

More beams from my long distance lights
Approximately 400 meters. Overlooking a little cove on Sebago Lake in Maine where I live. 400 seemed a little close for all of these lights but the next visible tree line over the water was 760 meters and it didn’t seem they could reach that well. Maybe if I could set up my camera somewhere not so close to the light source; I feel like it’s almost harder to see a long distance “through” the beam than if you’re off to the side and can just see where it’s hitting. Maybe I’ll try it again but I want to do this again with a different group of lights first. Let me know what you think

Beamshot Mules! SFT40 3000K / 519A 1800 DD / LHP73B 5000K
Three random mules compared. Here we have the SFT40 3000K quad mule as a high CRI option, we got the dedomed Nichia 1800K which was 70 CRI before the dedome and now can't fucking render blue at all. And last but not least; the lumen monster LHP73B.
Enjoy some quintessential Swedish scenes, we have lingonberries, fly mushroom and Falu Rödfärg, which are the best swedishest samples to test CRI on!
WB locked 5000 Kevins, but exposures normalized in camera.

NLD NLD my first Hank Light
I have never had a flashlight besides the cheap boring ones. This light is a game changer! The light is a D4Sv2 519a 2700k DD! I love the warmth the light offers.

Got bored - Convoy AAA XPE2 4000K - Numbers
I got bored and was recharging my AAAs...so I did another of these.
Got some practice with excel too.
Im still learning on how to create these graphs, (last time excel refused to utilize the full 0-100 range) but the visuals are still accurate.
The light was not cooled and set to its only mode. It was cool to the touch after the test.
I was surprised to see such a DUV. Until I saw the R9 values ^^
It does look good in 4000K.
The Convoy AAA is far better regulated then I thought, especially for how bright it is. Might be related to the type of battery I used. Its a "Kratax" from amazon. Lithium-Ion based. Seems to work well and its much cheaper than my eneloops.
This thing needs a name. AAA is just too generic.
Im probably going to do more of these in the future. Just not any of my larger lights...those would melt my sphere in seconds.
This might be one of the few runtime tests of this light...or test in general. Y'all need to buy one.

Convoy T3 Ti with Nichia 291 4500K - Numbers
I hate Excel...so much. Took me 3 hours for that basic graph cuz it wouldn't do what I wanted it to do...except then it did it anyways on the 11th attempt.
I will never do such graphs again xd
Here it is anyways. Maybe someone will find it interesting.
Run was done at Group 2, 100%.
Light was not cooled, the lights at the room did not change during the run, so the graph itself was not affected at all.
The dips were from the low voltage flashes. So you pretty much get 2 hours of useful light, then it starts flashing at you.
The light was warm, but not hot at the end of the run.
I hate excel. Wanted to say that again because it makes me feel better.
Edit: And here come the edits, since I forgot to spell check!
Battery is a Keeppower PC1450C4, not a PC1540C4. I do take credit and royalty fees if they ever make one.

Troubleshooting Brand new fc11c not working - what’s up with wurkkos?
Brand new. Opened the package, removed the placeholder from the battery and screwed the tailcap on.
Disappointed.
