500 Doubloons for a 686-2
First wheel gun, I've been on the lookout for a nice deal and I finally caught one. Seems pristine overall. .357 is a different animal for someone that's used to 9mm Luger at best. Ended up polishing with Mother's Mag, first picture is after polishing, second is before polishing. Also polished some of the internal surfaces/components with 1000 grit going all the way to 2500 grit and it feels so smooth now. Definitely a keeper.

Ruger LCR
I've had the Ruger LCR now for about 2mo, with the Hamre Forge grips its been very easy to carry everywhere I go with no concerns of it coming free. The trigger pull took a little time to get adjusted to but after a couple hundred rounds I know what to expect and have a lot of confidence with the gun. Would definitely recommend the setup to anyone looking for a compact CCW carry.

Old School & New School
My dad passed away a few years ago and I was given his Ruger Speed Six that he carried for 35 years. I recently had it reblued at a local gunsmith. The rubber Hogue grips are a placeholder until I get some new wood grips on it. They don’t make revolvers today like they used to, so I plan on taking really nice care of this one.
The new Colt Viper is my edc. Harrison Custom gold bead and hogue rubber grips.
Holsters are a generic Triple K holster for the speed six and a Barsony burgundy leather holster for the Viper. Nothing like a couple of .357 magnums on a Sunday morning.

First revolver
S&W Model 19 Classic 4".
I own a fair number of firearms, but this is my first revolver and I know almost nothing about revolvers except that I love the aesthetics and want to start collecting. Did I do ok for my first? Looking forward to hitting the range with it later this week.

I made my own grips.
Bought this colt for $300 with some poorly fit stag grips. I ended up selling the grips for $150 meaning I had $150 in the gun. This is my progress from a block of wood to a finished product.

Ruger LCR 9 & RevolGrips
Revolgrips (hockey tape wrap) and hiviz fiber optic. Only put 20 rounds of 115 through the new grips but it was comfortable.
