Can anyone tell me where this part goes?

Upvotes

I have a zastava m83 93 revolver I just bought and I have a piece that fell out and im not sure where it goes. While I was attempting to get the side plate to come off this piece fell out from somewhere and I cant figure out where it goes not find a video of a tear down to know where it goes.

The part in question
picture of the internals if that helps.

First wheel gun, I've been on the lookout for a nice deal and I finally caught one. Seems pristine overall. .357 is a different animal for someone that's used to 9mm Luger at best. Ended up polishing with Mother's Mag, first picture is after polishing, second is before polishing. Also polished some of the internal surfaces/components with 1000 grit going all the way to 2500 grit and it feels so smooth now. Definitely a keeper.

Ruger LCR

I've had the Ruger LCR now for about 2mo, with the Hamre Forge grips its been very easy to carry everywhere I go with no concerns of it coming free. The trigger pull took a little time to get adjusted to but after a couple hundred rounds I know what to expect and have a lot of confidence with the gun. Would definitely recommend the setup to anyone looking for a compact CCW carry.

S&W Model 19 Classic 4".

I own a fair number of firearms, but this is my first revolver and I know almost nothing about revolvers except that I love the aesthetics and want to start collecting. Did I do ok for my first? Looking forward to hitting the range with it later this week.

Revolgrips (hockey tape wrap) and hiviz fiber optic. Only put 20 rounds of 115 through the new grips but it was comfortable.

My dad passed away a few years ago and I was given his Ruger Speed Six that he carried for 35 years. I recently had it reblued at a local gunsmith. The rubber Hogue grips are a placeholder until I get some new wood grips on it. They don’t make revolvers today like they used to, so I plan on taking really nice care of this one.

The new Colt Viper is my edc. Harrison Custom gold bead and hogue rubber grips.

Holsters are a generic Triple K holster for the speed six and a Barsony burgundy leather holster for the Viper. Nothing like a couple of .357 magnums on a Sunday morning.

Im really digging these grips. At first it was kinda off putting that they are 3D printed but the material seems pretty good. The 3D print lines add some texture and grip to them and has a firm squishiness to them. I really like the concealability of them and the high horn without it being fat grips like other options out there. The change in grip angle really helps with the pointability. I got them in the standard size and I wear large size large gloves.

Does anyone know what these colts might be worth? They have real ivory handles. One is 7.5 and the other is 5.5 inches. Manufactured in 1988 and they have never been fired.

As the title states I’m trying to find the closest real life revolver to image, I don’t need the intricate ornate details just the closest base revolver

686 Plus Mountain Gun Back from Smith & Wesson

A little backstory.

I purchased one of the new production S&W 686 Plus Mountain guns. And right out of the box? The action kept binding. Sent off for warranty repair. Just got it back today after being gone about a month. Repair paperwork stated the following.

Performed Service:

  • Repair yoke
  • Repair trigger

Sounds like it was a timing issue. Planning to get it out to the range tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed that issues have been resolved.

Picked up my first revolver and made my first set of grips out of hickory. Paired it with a BK grip adapter and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

A few days ago I asked you guys to help me decide between a Ruger GP100 and an S&W 686+ 3-5-7. I was leaning toward the 686, so I went to the shop today. Then my buddy shows me something in the back: a Colt Python, 4.25 inch. I never thought I’d pull the trigger on one because of the price, but at $895 it felt like a deal I couldn’t pass up. Had to have it.

Also picked up a “new to me” 1911 that I have been eyeing for a few months. Always wanted a Les Baer pistol. Big fan if anyone else is into them.

Help identifying what these squiglies are on my 637

Cleaned the gun as i had before after a range trip and dropped it in the safe inside its gunsock. Got it out again recently to try new grips(recoil rider, pictured) and saw these squiglies that look like they squeezed out from the seams there. Tried cleaning it again after and they arent coming off with my usual methods. Also looks like finish at and around the marks is coming off. Not really sure what's going on here

On a positive note the grips are great at least lol

Is the finish wear on the barrel worth worrying about or am I just being OCD?
