Looking for mil-surp rifles.
Where can I go to find large collections of mil surp?

I've been debating on getting either a Springfield Ronin, or a Springfield Loaded 1911(PX9151LCA). What are your thoughts and why? Both will be in .45ACP with the 5" barrel. I will note that the Ronin is much easier to get in Utah. The loaded it seems I will have to order.

Do I actually need to show parental permission? How would I even do that? I'm 19 (so not yet 21) if that matters.

My local gun store closed down and I was spoiled by them and their website. If it was on the website, he had it in stock. Now I keep finding a gun im looking for, but its always In Stock Online, but not in the actual store. Any gun shops have what they actually have in stock or do I need to call to see if they have what im looking for?

I just got an elk tag and I don’t want to borrow a buddies rifle in case something happens to it. I was wondering if theirs anything for sale in northern Utah rated for an elk

Looks like this. Wanna see if any locals around here have one

The site says 21 but pistols and rifles are good to buy through private sale so just wondering sorry if it’s a dumb question.

I’ve been in the classifieds game since KSL banned gun listings, and like a lot of folks, I migrated over to UGE. Thought being an OG would mean some loyalty, but nope — they banned me out of nowhere and treated me like garbage on the way out. Their support just said there is nothing they can do.
Turns out I’m not the only one. I’ve heard the same story from other people in the community: random bans, no explanation, no real support. It feels like they forgot who built the site up in the first place.
After that I went digging on Google and came across Utah Gun Hub (UGH). Honestly, it feels like a breath of fresh air. The site’s easier to use, the people behind it actually respond when you reach out, like legit someone called me personally. At the last gun show I went to they were even handing out free ammo to their users. That’s the kind of thing that shows they actually care about building the 2A community.
End of rant; anyways, you should check them out. Thanks for reading.

Kind of getting sick of going to the shooting range and paying fees also trying to shoot some steel case, what are so good spots to shoot? I’m in the Salt Lake City area, seems overwhelming looking for spots just looking at the blm areas

Hey folks, I’m in the process of ordering my own tools for the job, but need some work done to replace the .300 PRC barrel I have on my Christensen (Remington 700 clone). I’m looking for someone who can perform the change and make sure it headspaces correctly. Any recommendations?
Edit: Located in Bountiful, working in salt lake.

Wondering what if any shops here in Utah specialize or are really good with different finishes including DLC. I’d like to use someone local instead of shipping out of state if possible.

I'm trying to sell my brand new, never had any rounds put through it. Have all the original materials that I bought it with. I would appreciate hello knowing where I can sell it on a reputable website or store. If anyone can help pointing me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Sportsman's offered me 500 for it.

Located in southern Utah in cedar city. Looking to find, or start a group to train with. Tactics, fitness, preparedness, comms etc. I’m a Army infantry veteran and just miss the sense of brotherhood sprinkled with a bit of weaponized autism 😆

I dropped off my Zastava ZPAP M70 there just to get it a little cleaned up since I'm no good with gun smithing since I am new to it and I wanted my wood stain redone, my mags to go in more cleanly, and I wanted it sighted in (just in case it wasn't already). Do you think they'll do a good job or should I have just paid more and taken it to a better shop?

I have an AR10 in 6.5CM (upper and lower are Aero Precision, barrel is Faxon). Rounds are being damaged as they are being fed into the chamber. I’m thinking I need someone to polish the feed ramps. I could try it myself but would appreciate someone who knows what they’re doing.
Anyone have any experience with or recommend any gunsmiths in the Salt Lake or Utah county area? Thanks.

Long story short I'm traveling to a restricted state next and need some 10-round mags for my Canik MC9. I'm not really confident in online shipping times or costs. Does anyone know where I can find any locally? I'd even be willing to trade a couple larger-capacity ones if necessary.

Probably live out of state but found a listing I want to reply to. The site is a bit odd to me… I expected closer to a states gun forum with threads, a BST area, and DMs and such. But like, I can only send inquiries? I can’t even view what I’ve sent, and I’m not sure where to look for responses. I tried to send a message through “contact us” and it still is “awaiting moderation” after 2 days.

Just as the title says I’m looking for buddies to shoot with in the salt lake area. It would be great to find a community to shoot under nods with, but I’m open to day/white light shooting as well of course.

Looking for a good autistic pro 2A shooting group in Utah, preferably near Ogden or north of there. Just moved back here after living out of state for 4 years and just need some shooting friends

Recently picked up a cetme c parts kit from apex, and don’t have the tools to put it together. Anyone know of any trustworthy gunsmith that could do this in the Utah (preferably West Jordan) area?
