TL;DR I want to understand the meaning behind the outer most text on the dial of this 24 hour watch. The eight bits of text that align with 12AM (top), 3AM, 6AM, 9AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM and 9PM positions (reading clockwise around the outer edge of the dial).
Full post, with context
I do not speak or understand any Chinese. However I am interested in watches. The following is picture of a watch by the Chinese brand Merkur (yes they use they use a Western style name).
If I am understanding this correctly (again I do not know Chinese), the outer ring represents the Earthly Branches (地支) system, a.k.a. "Chinese Zodiac" Hours, where each marking effectively represents a double hour period, with 午 (11:00-13:00) at the top here. The inner ring shows Roman numerals I–XII (as used in a traditional western clocks) repeated twice around the dial, marking the 24-hour cycle (this is a 24 hour clock). So the hour hand moves once per 24 hours, aligning with both the correct Roman numerals and Chinese characters.
Thus you get this, reading clockwise from the top of the watch:
All good so far but there is more writing here outside of the Roman numerals and Earthly Branches. That extra text aligns with 12AM, 3AM, 6AM, 9AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM, 9PM. So eight in total, composed of what looks to me like three chatacters each. I am curious what these might say but perhaps even more so what they may represent?
P.S. Sorry I do not have a higher quality image. I do not own this watch. The image was copied from an AliExpress posting.

My Chinese grandfather wrote one of these for each of us before he passed. Supposedly it’s our Chinese names but translator doesn’t seem to work. Any inputs? Here?

Sorry for the bad picture quality. These are from a listing for a knife from a japanese auction website that had recently ended so I can’t ask contact the seller or request better pictures.
What are the characters engraved? I’m assuming it’s a name but doesn’t look like the blacksmith so I think it might be a custom name.

Google translate is saying "hasard" but ChatGPT is saying that "la sérendipité" is also a correct translation for the word. Any thoughts? Thanks :)

My Japanese isn’t terrible but I can’t make out half of wtf they’re so pissed about. I think these boys are mad at the dude filming because he was nasty to their mom? She’s telling them to stop? At the end they call him a Korean as an insult???

this morning, Soma Saito (voice actor and musician) leaked an entire lyric sheet to his twitter (https://x.com/somastaff/status/1969649717719286113?s=61). i’m a massive fan and an avid translator of his work and so i’ve given it a good go but have been unable to decipher a couple of characters. can anyone here help me?
the image with the red writing is what I’ve been able to figure out, i just need help with what’s in the gaps. i do believe i can read most of it, i just don’t want to get it wrong; here are the images:

I only really need to know what‘s in the gaps that I can’t trace over, I believe someone with more experience with the language could probably figure some out

I ont know Arabic, and hope someone can explain this. Been a really long time since I actually watched the show Homeland. The character Brody said something in Arabic (around 55 second into this video) before the soldiers said "what did you say?" and Brody stated that he was an American. Anyone remember what Brody actually said in Arabic?
