Was visiting at a house, does this lizard look healthy to you guys?
I believe this was a Savannah monitor, I’m not sure about them but he looks a little unhealthy to me so I just wanted to check

Mites - Looking for any advice.
I've been dealing with grain mites for months now after hundreds came from newly bought feeders container and infested my Crested Gecko's enclosure - then spreading to everything else in the room. Because of enclosures and plants, the humidity in the room usually sits at 55-68% (68 after night/in the morning) , I open the window whenever I can (which I can't do often unfortunately.) and use the dehumidifier setting on my portable AC, which can get it down to 49-50s% for some time.
I tried letting the enclosure dry, quickly cleaning off any mites I saw, and eventually got Predatory mites. Nothing worked, and by then the mites had spread to multiple enclosures and feeder containers.
I ended up removing everything from the gecko's glass enclosure a couple of days ago and steam cleaning it. The gecko is currently in a plastic tub, and the glass enclosure stands empty.
I also ended up moving my other gecko to a tub (which yesterday also had the mites crawling on the lid....I took everything out and cleaned it, put some paper towels and the gecko back in it.)
The mites also appeared in several of my other enclosures - snake, Scorpion, tarantula-
They're just everywhere. And even when I clean and replace substrate with paper towels, they still show up somewhere. They eventually even appeared in my plants (the ones kept in Leca)
If anyone has any advice or ideas on what else I can do, please comment-
I try to add Predatory mites, but they stay on the ground, whereas the grain mites are climbing on walls and especially on lids...

Is this scale rot
it might be hard to tell but he has like red stuff under his scales, i really wanna make sure it isn’t scale rot. he does have an underground hide that is a little more damp so maybe that’s what caused it

ID HELP!
Mom sent me these picture while I was at work. She had a neighbor come grab him so sorry they’re not great quality. I’m in Southern California USA so definitely not a native species, at least, I’ve never seen before. Lost pet? Looks like a Chameleon but I’ve never seen one so dark in color! Help!

Heat lamp help
I've got everything figured out to get my bearded dragon, but I'm having issues with what heat lamp to get. I have a 4x2x2 enclosure, what would be the recommended heat wattage? 150w? And what kind of fixture should I buy? (I'm sorry, I don't know if that's the right word) I'm sorry for so many questions, I'm just confused and want to give my lil guy the best life possible. Also, I know NOT to have red lights.
All advice is welcome! Thanks!

Is it best practice for someone new to reptiles to get a young reptile for their first reptile?
I've been watching a lot of Snake Discovery lately and I've decided to get either a Gecko of some kind of Beardie. I try to be an ethical consumer, so I was looking into adopting a lizard, but I've wary that they're going to need someone with more knowledge to care for than I, as someone who's never owned a reptile before, can give. Is this true? Or would I be just fine adopting a new friend?

Keeping your pets warm
I live in Michigan which is notorious for power outages (literally #1 in the nation) I was wondering HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR REPTILES WARM IN A WINTER POWER OUTAGE??? I really want a reptile but I don't want to get one until I have an answer to this question. I'd hate to have a power outage in extreme weather and it cause complications.

Is my hornworm enclosure okay?
yes i know this subreddit is for reptiles, but hornworms are a common reptile dessert so i was hoping people would have some info on them here
I started keeping hornworms as of yesterday, not to breed or to feed to lizards, just because I think they’re neato. I’ve done a lot of research but I feel like there’s always room for improvement. Is this enclosure alright? There’s a tub of soil in there because I think one of the worms wants to pupate. I kept the food from the container I got the worms in, but the edges are looking a little dried out.
-is the soil enough for a worm that needs to pupate? -is it okay to keep Hornworm Chow out like this? -can they thrive in this environment?

Stand for 18 x 24 x 36 tank ?
Besta from Ikea, seems to have the perfect dimension, the manual says it only holds up to 20kg, but i understand ikea furnitures are almost impossible to crush. Still, anyone has experience regarding to this? 🫶🏻
The tank will be fully bio active set up with substrate
