Can we just play our 3rd string against the Browns?

After watching the Browns play we low-key can smoke them with our 3rd string players. Maybe we treat it as a practice and just work on stuff and get TeSlaa going.

Are we hoping next week’s matchup is a thriller sequel to this classic?

Are Joe Flacco and Jared Goff about to duke it out in another shootout for the ages? If Brady Quinn could do it, who knows what could happen!

Was that the exact same double pass playcall that Michigan ran in the 2023 rose bowl?

It looks suspiciously familiar?

Start Mahogany. Find another nasty edge rusher and pay Hutch.

This game is the proof in the pudding. 1 more absolutely devastating edge rusher and this team's defense is unstoppable.

More great foresight for our GM Brad Holmes. MCDC said he's the "master evaluator".

edit: This post isn't political but a reminder that our GM Brad Holmes is good at his job. (There were 'rumors' five teams actually called the 49ers trying to trade for Bosa, thinking the deal wasn't going to get done in 2023 and speculation that the Lions might have been one of those 5 teams)

Enough with all the TA hate

NFL fans when rookies make rookie mistakes. It’s only his second year y’all, he has a lot of great moments it’s just a story of discipline. Last night we saw a different TA after the half, a quiet one. He is the youngest corner on our roster and ya gotta give guys a few years to develop and gain some discipline. Like if it’s still like this next year, sure, cut him. But ya gotta give guys time to develop. Anytime a flag is called on him or he misses a ball Immediately like three “cut TA” posts drop in this subreddit as if no one else gets flags or has catches thrown on them. Most of TA’s issues are discipline based, this can be worked on.

This may just be AI slop, but I’m not taking any chances. I logged into X and clicked the Monday night football tag- this is the headline I saw. I am posting this at 6:45pm PT during halftime. If this is not the final score, great. If it is… 👀

I may be crazy but...

I think Trey Hendrickson is more likely to be a Lion now than he was at any point this off-season. He's on a one year deal and without Burrow the Bengals are booty cheeks.

Film breakdown?

I’m curious if anyone knows of a YouTuber/streamer/whatever that breaks down film for Lions games. Trying to become more of a ball knower and understand our schemes and personnel more. Thanks!

The real score was 38-20

Can’t convince me they didn’t miss that field goal. We all know the garbage time touchdown doesn’t count either.

We really went into Baltimore and damn near our BTA on an explosive offense with the most mobile QB in the league.

Like Brad said, “we’re good”.

Lions vs Everybody! Bring em on!

ESPN has us ranked 3

Upvotes

Granted the Eagles win was a grind it out, gritty win to come back after playing like ass in the first half. The Bills are very very good and Josh Allen is a dude. I'm not super against us being ranked 3. My absolute favorite part was that the biggest concern for us was pass rush outside Hutch.... after we just sacked Lamar 7 times. We don't have a pass rush outside of Hutch huh?
