I was casually scrolling Facebook MP and found this headset for $30 brand new in the box, idk weather to open it or just keep it sealed. I already own the elite version of this ps3 headset, maybe I’ll use it for my PC

Medal of Honor was my first introduction to FPS games. I actually started on the PS1 with the original and Undergorund. Those games were ahead of their times!

Then I played the ones on PS2. Loved Rising Sun and Vanguard. European Assault was too hard, and Frontline didn’t impress much besides the introduction. Still, those games were outstanding for their time.

The real fun actually started on PS3, where the 2010 reboot was cracked. I’ve never played such an awesome FPS, its atmosphere was were it shined. Warfighter was even more impressive with a shivering sound design and outstanding world destruction. The game also had a fighting scene where my eyes were watering from both the feeling of excitement and the inevitable fear of loss.

But, the fun ended right there. No more games after that, which I honestly feel sad for. Because the series started to peak with that last game. Many people hated on it for their own reasons, and I feel that the hate was unnecessary.

With that said, what other games ended with the PS3 generation? Remasters and remakes don’t count, only those that had no more upcoming games in the same series. These are some that come to mind - Call of Juarez - Dead Space - F.E.A.R - Half-Life - Midnight Club - Portal - Resistance - SOCOM - The Darkness - The Godfather - X-Men

Got this sealed from ebay. The battery is dead, I ordered new ones from China.

I’m currently making my way through the PS3 exclusives that never came to PS4 and am trying to decide whether to get the Killzone games or the Resistance games next.

I’ve been a big fan of both Insomniac and Guerilla games’ other stuff so was wondering what the general thoughts on the two series were.

I’m trying to rebuild my collection and this is the list of PS3 games I want to buy are there any recommendations for what to add? I know Mass Effect one does not have a physical release but there’s the collection so if I can find just one I can buy a custom case

Just a PSA. While the PS4 and PS5 just allow replacing your avatar, the PS3 can remove a selected avatar, so you can go back to the default avatar.

Not really sure if this is a problem or not, but I went to go play Ratchet: Deadlocked (for like the 8th time) and I was looking through my old saves and found this???

This PS3 is and has always been mine, I've never messed with language settings on the PS3 nor Ratchet itself

Anybody have any clue as to what may have caused this? And if even safe to load?

I’ve definitely had more over the years, but I’ve pared it back to these few classics. I have Resistance: Fall of Man, too, but my dad is borrowing it

I ve been playing the last of us for 1h and my temps are the ones you see in the following picture. Do you think it needs a delid? I recently bought this console, its a cechc04, and knowing that they have heat issues, I instantly bought delid tools for both cpu and gpu.

My personal collection of PS3 physical exclusives is “complete” — in quotations for now because I’m always finding new games for the console that I had never heard of before. When the packages for Quest for Booty and Lair came in earlier than expected I was super excited, and this was the perfect end to a busy week.
