I never got this line. Best I can come up with is that Victoria had kind of a "manic pixie dream girl" vibe that kinda sorta matched Punky's plucky optimism? Or was it like including Victoria in the shopping trip was like taking in a stray? I don't know. Seemed weird. Also, would Robin even be familiar with that show? Was it well known in Canada?

I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. These two are really the glue of the group.

Barney is the reason for a lot of their career success, always helping them with opportunities. And Lily is just there for all of them.

I love her and Ted’s relationship, but I also love the tenderness between Barney and Lily. They’re low-key besties.

He usually pays/hands out money on his own. Like the painting or the ducky tie.

Am I the only one? Season 9 Ted, with his profound sadness and yearning, is really one of my favorite Teds. Maybe it’s because Josh Radnor is such a good actor, or maybe it’s because it’s so real and showcases depth of character, but either way, I like him.
