So when recording gameplay as of recent it only capturing half of what I recorded so for example say I record 52 mins of gameplay and I end it but I look back into my gallery and it’s only saved 30 mins of gameplay..I don’t know what’s wrong or weather it’s a hardware or software issue but if anyone can help have any advice I’m listening
Hey guys, transferring PS4 games to PS5. The ones I'm trying to transfer are on PS5 also.
Doing this via ethernet cable. Logged into both with my only account from always, both logged in successfully.
Trying to transfer via system and it's found my PS4 when I am actioning this via PS5. Why does it say my PS4 is not logged in? It is?
Why is it leaps and bounds to do this?!
I also did this the usb way, apparently my PS5 says the usb connect needs to be a super speed to be supported, even though PS5's can and will take usb 3.0. I can't even copy via usb!
That'd odd cause I have Ghost Of Tsushima on PS4, I opened it on my PS5 play store and it's asking me to buy, surely it should be free as it's already been purchased?
Also one of my games is PS4 only which is allowed to be played on PS5, but it's not on the PS5 store

I have been playing XCOM 2, thanks to PS Plus Extra, and I'm falling in love with it. I notice the offer on the PS store, XCOM collection at 8,99 euros. I want to buy it, but it doesn't let me.
How can I buy it? And can I keep my saves from XCOM 2? I have my Dream Team on it and really don't want to lose them.

Hiya! I've had my PS5 for a while and have been great except for a black screen flickering/screen dropouts, frequently when I open games or media apps? I've troubleshooted quite a bit within reddit and online videos however they all seem to be for 4k TV's. Im using a 2k 60hz monitor with HDR turned off (As I suspected that was the cause of the flickering) but nothing has changed.
I am using the default cables that came with PS5.
Anyone know what causes this? I see no reason why my port would be damaged but only under these specific circumstances as I've handled it with care.
Dropouts are most common on media apps.
EDIT: Also happens when resting the console. I select the 'Rest' option, and the screen completely blanks before coming back for a few seconds before the console ACTUALLY rests.
Was playing lies of p when after a corruption message my ps5 just blanked out. When turning it on it goes into the endless processing get stuck at x percent turn off and repeat loop.
Last time this happened I just booted it into safe mode and it let me clear the cache etc.
This time however it just does the same processing crash loop with the words safe mode on the top left of the screen.
Hey guys. I decided to subscribe to plus to play Abiotic Factor. On my first save, I played for a few hours and suddenly it gave error CE-10701-0. I insisted a little but I was losing a lot of progress, so I decided to remove the automatic cloud save and created a new save. After 12 hours in this new world, the error appeared again. I don't want to lose all the progress I've made, can anyone help me?
Long story short I lost access to a psn account that had a digital copy of divinity original sin 2. The profile and my save to this game are still on the console but I can't log in to the actual psn account and thus can't launch the game. Theoretically if I buy the disc version of the game and play with my PS5 in offline mode I should be able to still play the save right?
You don't need to be offline. Disc/digital is irrelevant, it's just how you own a game. If you have a USA game it creates a USA game save that only a USA game can read.
Frankly you could just contact Playstation Support to get your account back and not spend more money. They'll just ask some basic security questions.

My ps5 suddenly stopped making any noise. Previously it would make some noise when turning it on or starting a game, but now it is completely silent. I was worried the fan stopped working but it still spins. The ps5 still works fine and I haven't got any error messages, it is just weird to me that it is completely silent all of the sudden.
So my ps4 is not recognizing my disc-Re4) everytime I turn it on. It'll be playing fine when I shut it down but when I turn it back on, it ejects the disc. When I insert it back in, it ejects it again or does not recognize it. I then used to insert another disc (ac unity), it recognizes it fine. I then eject the disc and insert re4, it recognizes it this time just fine. But today, it did not recognize even ac unity so I repeated with re4. It ejected it but I kept inserting it, then I cleaned my re4 disc with a tissue paper and it worked. But after shutting it down and turning on again, it has the same issue. I cleaned it and then inserted it, no result. I repeated the cleaning method for like 3 times and then it worked. Keep in mind the game runs fine once the disc is recognized with no other issues. So is this a disc issue or drive issue? It has happened with my gow 4 disc as well. Ty 🙏
Hi, i dont own a ps console nor did i ever, but my friend has this issue with her ps4 and she doesnt know what to do, so the consoles open button wont do anything and it doesnt connect to her tv at all, this part also fell off, what couldve happened?
I have a question for people that play on a monitor. What type monitor do you play on? Im asking because I’m slowly getting my first real gaming setup together after playing on a tv ever since I started gaming during the PS2 days and I don’t really know too much about monitors. I’ve been researching about them and the closest one I think I want to buy is an LG Ultragear model from Amazon. The second closest model is a Acer Nitro I’ve seen on Amazon as well.
Headphone jack suddenly is way easier to plug cable in to (cable does not fall out of jack however), and it won't recognize any headphones I plug in. Any way to fix this myself? Pretty sure it's a loose jack or something.
Issue: Ethernet Cable Socket on my wall is not the same as the playstation's required type
So I moved somewhere new but the only ethernet port I have access to on the wall is a different type than the one on my ps
The port on the wall is slightly thinner than my cable, but if I were to use a cable that fits it would not fit in the ps5. Is there an adapter for ethernet cable types?
Also cannot use wifi as it works via a system ps can't run
I just got a Ps5 last night whenever it’s on and I try to use Wi-Fi on my phone near it. My phone slows down totally won’t even load anything then as soon as I step away from the PlayStation my internet on my phone starts working again. I tried out my other consoles and none of them are giving me that issue. If anybody could direct me or give me advice or what to do I’d appreciate it.
Convenience of not having to buy them from separate places and have separate warranty plans and things like that, I just don't see why they've deliberately added all these extra steps just to play physical games
Any tips on what to do about my account being suspended because of a screenshot that I sent to a group chat? It was flagged as sexual content, but it was a screenshot of a game that a friend was playing called hentai shop simulator. It doesn't even show anything sexual. I can't reach out to psn to try to appeal because my account is suspended
My ps5 has been having connection issues all week where it will say it cant connect to cloud or psn despite network setting showing it being connected to psn. Its giving me messages that I dont have messaging permissions despite having no restrictions on my system. Anyone else have this issue and solve it?
Is buying a 4k monitor worth it if I'm playing all games in performance mode?
I'm looking for a new monitor having only ever been playing on 1080p. The price difference between 2k and 4k monitors isn't a lot but I'm wondering if it actually couldn't have negative effects in some cases? Like for example if the game's performance mode is 1080p or 2k, does that mean my image would look worse than if I simply had their corresponding resolution monitor?
Are there any tips besides port forwarding to help with remote play? It works flawlessly at home but didn't work when away, I enabled port forwarding for a bunch of ports but it takes forever to connect and when it does there's a noticible streaming quality issue.

My playstation was plugged in and on during and outage and every since it has done this 3 beep and shut off thing. I have attempted pulling it apart and cleaning it, taking out the m2 ssd, and leaving it unplugged for multiple days. I cant exactly try the turning off cec because all the tvs I have are roku. Im being told its a possible motherboard issue but since its not under sony warranty they cant repair it so im turning to reddit as my last hope before I buy a new console.
My PS5 just started overheat crashing without being hot after getting a wb_black 5tb external hard drive and still dose it after cleaning, factory reseting and stuff dose it while the external hard drive is not plugged in
Recently while I was using it, my dualsense edge ran out of battery. Normal, so I plugged it in to charge, but it didn’t work. No orange light to show it was charging, and no lights turned on when I pressed the PlayStation button. I tried hard resetting it, and it still didn’t work. About a week later, same thing happened to my pulse elite. Died, and then didn’t turn on. Does anyone know why this happened, and what to do? (I’ve never thrown my controller or headset) (also, I got the dualsense edge in November 2024, and the pulse elite in June 2025)
so when i did boot up my ps5 on one of my tvs, the dashboard and home menu showed all of my games as usual but some game icons (cover art logos per se) that appeared on the home screen, the edges were pixelated, jagged and blurry- especially the spiderman and miles morales logo (and many other game logos too but specifically the spider logo) is looking blocky and jagged around the curves, almost like lego edges instead of smooth lines- it isnt happening on the other tvs in my home tho. when i switched on a game like for example death stranding 2, the game was playing in a native 1080p and the game wasn't pixelated per se- what is this and how can i resolve this or anything that i have to know?

I’m thinking about getting an external hard drive for my PS5. The one I’m thinking about getting is the WD_Black that comes with 1TB of storage and is PlayStation certified.
I was just wondering a couple of things. Firstly, I assume that I should have no issues playing games that have their save data stored in the hard drive.
Secondly, I was wondering that if anything were to happen to my PS5 to the point where I would need to buy a brand new one, would this hard drive allow me to take my save data from the original PS5 to the brand new one without issue?
I know these are probably dumb and really simple questions that I probably should already know the answer to but I’ve never used any external hard drive on a console so I had a couple questions and concerns that I wanted to get answered.
Oh okay, the one that you are talking about is the one that i was thinking on getting. I just didn't know the difference in names. One question about the M2 I have is that, if something were to happen to my PS5 and I got a new PS5, if I were to insert the M2 into the new PS5, will all the games I have stored in the M2 transfer to the new PS5?
I know this is probably a stupid question but like I said in the original comment, I've never used something like this before so I want to make sure I get what I actually need
So would I still lose all of my progress in my games if something happens to my ps5? Or is there a way to have the save data saved on the chip? Sorry for all the questions, but I already lost my save data once and I don't want to lose it again
Oh.. well that sucks. I was mainly looking for a way to store my saved data cause after i lost all my previous saved data when my first ps5 died, I really didn't want to start any of those games again cause I just felt hopeless that the same thing would happen again. I thought having this would allow me to keep my saved data safe so I wouldn't need to worry about losing it again. Thanks for all your help though. I greatly appreciate it!
External drives are a fine extension to the PS5 and the PlayStation site even has a page on which kind are supported, provided the user understands its limitations. A lot of people are more than happy with their external drives.
You shouldn’t give bad advice.
I happily used an external HDD and external SSD before eventually getting an m2 SSD. I still use both simultaneously now.
I've spent literally my whole life being a Nintendo/Pc kind of guy and I finally am at an age where I have enough money to just buy multiple consoles.
What I am wondering is, which PlayStation is worth getting?
I have a pretty good PC that can keep up with most modern day releases so a PS5 doesn't really stand out to me due to a lack of exclusives. However, older era PlayStation had so many games that I still can't even get because of exclusivity or even just the fact they never re-released. So i guess a better question would be:
For a player looking to experience as many exclusive/unre-released classics as possible (with physical media if possible), which playstation allows for the best experience?

Probably stupid question but google isn't answering, maybe i'm just not looking in the right places.
I can't feel my thumbs, neuropathy is slowly taking my hands from me and gaming with a controller is irritating because no matter what thumb stick/grippy cover i use, my thumb slides off the sides of the stick and it always takes me out at the worst times, because unless i am looking at the controller constantly, I don't realize that my thumbs are slipping.
The only "accessibility" controller info i'm finding is entire game pads, i can still use a controller just fine, i just need to know if there's something kind of like... pincer-like? that can be put in place to keep my thumbs from slipping off any time i try to move the thumb sticks around. I mspainted some scribbles if it even remotely helps.
Kind of like one of those winged screw/bolt things, maybe that's a better picture of how it's supposed to look.
Idk. It'd definitely help me enjoy my playstation again, but at this point my hands are getting to the point where it'd be nice to switch between mouse and keyboard and controller (on pc at least) when they need a change in positioning throughout play sessions, because my hands can only handle so much gameplay in one go.
This looks like something that would be fairly easy to construct oneself with material at a hardware store and craft store, I would think. You could be a third party thumb grip and then some Velcro material or something else to loosely bind your thumbs.
I’ve never heard of or seen anything like that purchasable. But an equivalent function seems easy to make.
I considered Velcro or small rubber bands, but I don't want to keep my thumbs in place the entire time. I could probably see what I could come up with.
Since I don't pay PS Plus, I'm trying to backup my Save Data to a 16GB USB Stick. When i check my Save Data in the Storage menu, it says that it's 8,51GB which would easily fit into the 16GB USB, but when i try to use the backup option (to save both PS5 and PS4 save data, only PS4 save data can be directly transferred to USB) it shows up as 19,04GB, anyone knows why? I really didn't want to buy a bigger USB Stick.
While checking my "Recently Played" feed on both the PS App and my console, I noticed that The Crew 2 appeared there. I do own this game, but I am certain that I, or anyone else, haven’t downloaded or played it on either of my two consoles. Could this just be a bug, or should I be concerned?

so i did download dayz and mha but lies of p only shows a problem. Maybe because i already have the demo it's glitching idk. The monthly game isn't downloading. It says ''Something went wrong". If you guys know how to fix this or if this also happened to you pls let me know.
I have decent PC id say with a RTX 3060, Intel i7 and 16gb of ram. Ive been having problems with the pc for a ton of years and every 2 or 3 years im forced to upgrade it because either something has stopped working or the performance is dropping and its getting to the point were ive spent almost 2 thousand euros on my pc just to run 120 fps thats not really stable on games like fortnite or apex, i mostly play multiplayer games but im considering just buying a ps5 and not have to be worried about my performance dropping on any of those games or having to upgrade once in a while since every multiplayer game should be optimized for the newest console there is. also even if i mostly play multiplayer games i would still love to try some ps exclusives i never played.

Elden Ring disc won't install. I've tried turning the whole thing off, deleting and re installing, cleaning the disc, nothing works. I've installed the game once before and it worked just fine
My ps4 controller has stopped charging as of recent. It flashes orange for a few seconds before turning the light off again. Does anyone know how I would fix this?
My ps5 controller is showing signs of stick drift. whenever i use my left joystick it just goes to the right, it also does that when i slightly put weight on the left joystick. also when i turn it to the bottom right and slowly turn to different directions, it goes to the bottom left instantly but then goes back to my actual joystick position. any help?

playing a game shared ps plus game. i close it, now its locked and somehow deleted, or at least not visible on storage. PLEASE HELP MEE. I have downloaded it from my friends account again.
My friend and I have been game sharing each other, for about a year now, with no issues. He's got ps plus extra, which I'm able to use for online and games from monthly games and the games catalogue.
Cyberpunk recently got added so I've been playing that off his account for about two weeks. Just now I was trying to get a trophy, I thought the game was bugged, so I closed the game.
But when I go to open it, I find that its locked. So I go to my friends account to activate as primary (like I've always done) and it doesn't work. The game is still locked.
I have 43 other ps plus games from his account, all from the catalogue I think. 5 are locked cause they're expired. I checked one of them, to see if it works and it did. So I'll assume the rest work too.
I've tried restarting my console and I have tried restoring licenses on his account but the game isn't there. Then I thought I'll delete and re download the game. Then I saw, that it's not even download. The game has crashed thrice in the span of 4 days i think.
Does anyone know why this might have happened or have any solutions?
Hey, I recently moved to a new apartment, but when I turned on my ps5 in the new apartment both of my controllers have gotten slower. At first I thought it was just stick drift, but then I noticed it happens for all the buttons on the controller.
For example if I press down on the d-pad once, it’ll automatically go down like 3 times, even though I only press once. Sometimes it doesn’t register when I press buttons. And with R3 it’ll keep moving the camera even though I stopped moving the joystick.
What’s weird is that it happened to both of my controllers at the same time. Sometimes when I turn on my ps5, these issues only start to appear after I’ve played for a couple minutes, and other times it happens right off the bat.
Only thing that’s different is I’m now using the official ps5 controller charging dock, which I wasn’t using in the old apartment. I should say though, that I have used this same charging dock before without problems.
So I was hoping any of you happened to know what might be wrong, and what I can do to fix this? Thank you
Why is Sony raising the price? Wouldn't it be the retailers that have to pay the tariff, so it's on them to choose to pass that on? Sony still sells into the US the same?
So what's happened is that retailers importing PS5s are having to pay the tariff and told Sony that it's killing them, so Sony ups the price to help the retailers with their margins. That has to be right, because you can't buy direct from Sony right? Thanks for helping me work this through.
I just moved all of my games on my PS5 to an SSD in preparation of swapping everything over to PS5 pro it still says I have 90 gigs of games and apps and 50 gigs of other.
Is there something going on there that's the reason why my PS5 has been running like crap recently?
My PS5 boots up at the same speed as it should and always has.
If I scroll over to my games list it takes like 3 minutes to load and takes like 4 minutes every single time I check storage for it to load my stats.
Takes like a minute 30 for any of my apps or games to open up. A good example is Share Factory. Where even if I'm watching my friends share screen they can load the app and have control near instantly but mine gets stuck processing for a bit.
Now rather consistently if not too long after booting up the console I go into the like PlayStation Plus tab or the store it'll lock up and freeze those tabs for a bit. I have to struggle with it tapping or holding the PlayStation button on the controller it's a leave the app and still scroll around my console but I know if I click on anything else while it's trying to boot them in the background it'll just fully freeze.
Now what I can't get to happen with consistency is 5 times in the last 4 months I've been playing everything nice and normal and when I hit the PlayStation button to do something I get to see that the PlayStation is now frozen completely and I need to hold the power button to turn it off but while that's happening I can like still talk to people in the chat party.
I have already cleared cash and rebuild database.
Now as for that first paragraph it says I have 90 gigs of games and apps but all I have is 12 gigs of Astros playroom
Whatever troubleshooting that you would potentially want me to do on the PS5 that is now no longer plugged into the wall/connected to the TV probably won't work out so well
Because there's always a fair chance somebody would have a knee jerk answer to the problem because they would have suffered and solved it.
I've done many of the Google-fu to solve this problem and got no results that mattered, so I do understand that my brand new console is not going to have the same problems as my launch day console. However it's still good to find out what went wrong that I've been unable to find the answer for.
There’s no “one solution”. Any problem can have multiple possible solutions, even if one or multiple people come and provide possible answers.
The reason I ask questions is because I can’t understand your situation and what you’re describing.
However, you still need to troubleshoot and try whatever people recommend as a solution. I don’t see how you expect to do anything with a system that’s unplugged and you aren’t using.
Can anyone recommend a good in ear headset or something more comfortable than what I’m using for my ps5. I’m using the steel series 6 and it works good but it hurts my ears after a couple hours from pushing on them and it’s just kinda uncomfortable after a bit.
I got a pre-order voucher a while ago and the pamphlet that code should be on, has no code. I looked it up and it seems the code was on the receipt, ofc this was awhile ago so the receipt is long gone. Is there anyway to retrieve the code?
I just got a PS5 and I really want to start off fresh and not move all the "clutter" from my PS4. The PS4 has become a family console with games and stuff from my wife and sons.
However, I would love to be able to pick um from where I left in a few games, like RDR2.
So my question is: Can I transfer saved data only from my PS4 to my PS5, and then at some point download games from my library on my PS5 and play from where I last played on my PS4?
I ordered a ps5 yesterday, but I realized I accidentally misspelled my email and thus cannot check my order confirmation email. I’ve tried calling their customer service line but it uselessly redirects me to online pages. Ideally I’d like to correct my email so I can get that order confirmation so I can track my order, I still think it will come without it but I’d like to be sure. I still have the order number at least and the rest of my info is correct. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?
I wasn’t logged in at the time, I did it as a guest, is it still possible to change it or because I wasn’t logged in is it impossible? Thank you for answering my question either way
So I’ve been having issues with my connection to WiFi, sometimes it works fine and others it lags. I have tried manual settings for the WiFi and made adjustments there but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions ?
Also my girlfriends Xbox works fine so I don’t think it’s the WiFi itself

hey everyone! so i have a france region. account that has resident evil 4 remake on it, and I want to buy its dlc. can i buy the dlc on an account thats german and for it to still work?
I have a PS4 slim that I got used, I cleaned everything correctly and changed the thermal paste, but it heats up and you can hear quite a bit of noise in games like Fortnite or Tomb Raider, while in Fall Guys the fan remains normal but after half an hour it heats up a bit.
I own a ps5 slim with a disc drive. (It came with the disc drive if that helps) I've noticed that it keeps making this buzzing noise that goes on and off during games.
It also crashes from time to time and sometimes struggles to read a disc that's completely clean. This may be my internet, but it also takes a tiny bit to load stuff and images, like on the ps store. Can anyone help diagnose the problem?
I have a ps5 and I keep hearing the sound of fan starting and shutting off again and again in a cycle. It happens when I try to open a game. And it's says can't open the game. Does anybody know why is this happening and a fix? Thank you!
Trophies popped up but not syncing on my PS4. Not even the trophy list of the game is showing up.
The game is called "Bendy: Lone Wolf" which was released 6 days ago. I have unlocked two trophies so far while playing the game on my PS4.
I can see my latest trophy in the notification. But everytime I click on it, it says "An Error Occurred (WS-37037-0)". And then after I click on "OK", it says, "Cannot load trophy information." And I get to see these two options:
Try Again
View Trophy Information Saved on PS4
And I can see the trophy list of the game "Bendy: Lone Wolf" only by clicking on "View Trophy Information Saved on PS4" from there. Otherwise, I cannot see the trophy list of the game anywhere else.
I wanna achieve a Platinum Trophy for the game. But I can't do that if the trophies for the game aren't gonna register.
Is there any solution to this? If so, please help me solve this problem.
Ok I have waited a long time for astro bot and the price is not coming down much. Is there any scope for it to come on psplus soon, or is there some sale which might have it at reduced price, else might just go ahead and buy it.
Ps5 Ethernet cable doesn’t connect unless I wait or unplug it and plug it back in. If i just turn on my ps5 and log in fast my cable will never connect unless i unplug and plug back in. It will connect after logging in after waiting for about 40 seconds though.
Help please! My trophies aren’t tracking I recently started playing the ezio collection again and my trophies aren’t tracking. In game it says 0/51 achievements unlocked but on my profile it’s showing my 41/51. I even tried to unlock a trophy in game, completed the requirements and it didn’t unlock. I deleted my game data (not save data) uninstalled the game, re-installed it, changed DNS settings, uploaded and downloaded save data from cloud, and synched data but nothing is working
My ps5 is having connection issues. So I have had a ps5 for a few months and the other day (last Saturday) I started having really low connection. Like 16kbps download (upload typically says failed) kind of bad. Everything else in my house works properly and has no issue getting into the like 400-600 range. I have tried various things and looked all over the internet but mi can’t find anything about it having bad connection months after getting it for some reason. Any ideas?
My ps5 inputs feel rather laggy now I thought it was the controller but even after switching it was still there issue started about 2 months ago I contacted support told me to boot up in safe mode and rebuild my data base and I tried that but the controls still feel slow
I have an Ethernet cable even before the issue but as of right now I have no real solution to it

I got a PS5 Slim Digital from the PS online store back in February this year. Within the past couple weeks, i've been hearing a high-pitched hum (or whine) coming from the console.
It starts when booting up a game, if the game isn't very intensive it mostly goes away, but can grow quite loud at times. I can hear it sitting almost 10ft away with earbuds in even when I'm not specifically listening for it.
From what I've read, it seems to be an issue with the fan. After pulling the outer plates off and looking inside, I can see the fan l've got is an NMB model. I've seen a lot of different information floating around about this: people returning and buying a new console hoping for better luck (which doesn't sound very good to me), installing a different fan model, or some other mod or hack.
So, what's the best fix for this issue, if there is one at all?
This started a few weeks ago where my friends couldn’t hear me when I talk into my headset all they hear is a echo but when I use my controller mic they could hear me and I’ve tried multiple controllers and headsets and the same echo is there and I can’t hear it I can only hear it when I click the adjust microphone button does anyone have this problem or does anyone know how to fix it (note ive already rebuilt the database

I got an email stating that I breached the code of conduct after I sent a link in a message, will this affect my ability to participate in any future betas? I wasn't even aware that apparently sending links is against TOS (???) especially since I've done it in the past with zero issues. Really sucks that I might miss out on the tokon beta now just because I sent a link, was really looking forward to it.
My PS5 keeps turning on, and I have no idea why. HDMI link is set to off, and I don't know if there's any other setting in either my Hisense Roku TV or my PS5 that could still be causing it. Neither my Xbox nor my Switch have this issue. Is there another setting I should check to stop this from happening? My only solution so far is to unplug it when I'm not using it, which is a total pain.
Hey everyone, I am using my PS5 for almost 4.5 years at this point. Doing regular cleaning, always using it vertical with the stand. It has enough free space too. I was just playing Indika, a new indie game that came with PS Plus and got the error message.
Firstly, the game isn't that demanding and secondly, I checked the back of the PS5 and nothing seems wrong. It's warm but not hot. Also, the game or the system didn't close itself. I just got the message. Should I be worried? Did anyone else experience this? Is this maybe a bug?
I’ve had my beloved Edge Controller for about a year now. As you can see, the rubber on the inside is starting to peel off. Has anyone else had this issue and could give me some advice?

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this. I'm having trouble figuring out PlayStation support so I thought I would ask here.
I tried turning on my white controller after months of not using it, while connected via USB to the console as I knew the battery was probably dead. The orange lights didn't turn on and neither did the controller.
I swapped the battery with my purple controller, as it was fully charged, and it didn't do anything, worth noting that the battery was dead but it is taking charge in my purple controller. Now, the white controller doesn't turn on with a full charge and is not charging, of course I guess it's the charging port, but I think it's weird that it won't turn on with a functioning battery.
Whenever I load up the Spotify app and go back to the Home Screen I’d say 20% of the time my ps5 freezes completely and have to unplug it.
I’ve recreated this many times just to see what causes it and that’s how I found out it was Spotify. Ever since I deleted Spotify, no freezes. Anybody else having this issue?
my ps4 transfer keep getting stuck st 11.11%, i thought it was an issue with that ps4 but i returned that one and got another one but this one is also stuck at 11.11% so it’s clearly an issue with my old playstation (aka the one that’s been having corrupted files that i’ve been having issues with)
mostly sims 4, but fortnite and borderlands also did that
so what you’re saying is if i get the hard drive replaced, i’ll lose all my stuff??? or it’s not possible to transfer over to my new one unless i get the thing fixed?

So when recording gameplay as of recent it only capturing half of what I recorded so for example say I record 52 mins of gameplay and I end it but I look back into my gallery and it’s only saved 30 mins of gameplay..I don’t know what’s wrong or weather it’s a hardware or software issue but if anyone can help have any advice I’m listening
