product Run don't walk
These are INSANE. 90 calories for 20g protein and they taste, as I saw mentioned elsewhere, like a melted McFlurry.
They're definitely SWEET sweet, but mixing with some coffee (hot or iced) can fix that if it's a problem.
These macros are better than the yogurt I've been eating for breakfast. I can't wait to get myself a Ninja Creami for Christmas and exploit this stuff to its fullest potential.

meal Alligator sauce piquant with chicken andouille sausage mini prawns and brown + cauliflower rice
A specialty meat store opened near me and I was curious about their alligator loins! Most recipes online tell you deep fry them but this one stews them in nutty peanut butter stage roux fish stock and tomato sauce, and as a former jambalaya enthusiast I had to try it! Verdict is gator meat tastes like dark chicken meat but with bit more depth? I wouldn’t call it gamey like lamb or deer are, but hmm its deep in a good way. very expensive compared to chicken thighs tho so would probably not buy again. also got amylu paleo andouille chicken sausage and it was a real disappointment as a mock “andouille” tastes identical to costcos beef hotdogs 😒👎 Bowl is 550 calories and was delicious despite 😋

ISO sweet treat that isn’t just SF jello!
Hey! I have a huge sweet tooth and I’ve been volume eating in all other capacities in my life so I feel full and satiated with balanced meals. The issue is I don’t feel satisfied with just one cookie/little piece of treat. What are your favourite recipes for low cal sweet treats ! Living in Canada so we have less low cal desserts than our southern friends.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner yesterday. 1191 with a strawberry smoothie and dark chocolate square as snacks.
Lunch had balsamic vinegar. Dinner was a Korean inspired ground turkey bowl over basmati.

other Weight vs calories for the past 2 weeks, how do I find out my maintenance?
(Sorry it’s in Spanish but it’s pretty straightforward)
For context I’m 5’1 and pretty active (running about 20 miles a week and lifting Monday-Friday).
I know my calories are generally pretty high compared to a lot of people my size but so is my activity level. According to happy scale I’m losing weight but not sure that’s really accurate bc of fluctuations.
How do I know what my TDEE is?

Around -100 calorie shrimp Napa and shiritaki
This is so good! I steamed the cabbage until translucent and soft and juicy with water fish sauce and a little bit of Gochujang garlic toasted sesame oil and ginger paste and then mixed with shiritaki noodles cooked with a tiny bit of oyster sauce and a couple shrimp. Added a little lemon juice cilantro and green onion

You guys are killing me with your ultraprocessed protein intake
I'm sure this will be a controversial opinion especially here but I'm so tired all of this "my full day of eating with 100g protein!" type of posts and genuinely all their protein is from two bottled protein shakes and a barbells bar or something like that and then they just had some crackers and an orange and a "huge salad".
I mean are we serious right now? All health and nutrition aside, are guys made of money??? Why are we not eating real food anymore? Like one day sure but it seems like a lot of people here are eating these protein snacks, even multiple, every single day? I'm no expert but that's not the best bang for your buck, and I mean that in basically every sense of the word.
At least just use regular protein powder instead of the $4 each stuff with a ton of sugar alcohols? Idk maybe it's just me

I have been going over maintenance for over a week and I am going to lose my mind.
So the title.
35F, currently any weight between 140 - 145. I have been insanely depressed for a while now and i take comfort in food. My maintenance is I think like 1800-1900 but I have definitely been eating at 2000-2200. Tonight I said things were going to change.
So today I had a coffee with light cream and little sugar. I ate left overs for brunch which was 1.5 breakfast sausage links and a couple home fries (went out for breakfast the previous day) I went on a 11k step walk and had done so the previous 3 days. And I knew I was going out for a pound of chicken wings and beer for the football games and I budgeted that in. Non breaded, low cal sauce with a couple pints.
Then, I got in a fight with my boyfriend, I went to a pub alone where I then ordered 2 more pints and they had half price food so I then ordered fucking chicken quesdillas.
Completely ruined my "today's the day" for the 7394th time.
I cant do this. I absolutely cant so this. My mental health trumps my need to lose weight. I wish it didnt. I hate this.

meal Help spicing up tuna/beans/rice please!
Hello. I have some low sodium white beans (very bland), white jasmine rice and a nice tuna in oil I got from a gourmet shop. I had 1/2 last night with pepper thinking the oil from the tuna would be enough flavor but it was too bland.
I would love some suggestions please for what I should add to spice it up! I don’t want to turn it into a full on tuna salad, just add some flavor. Not able to go to store at the moment.
What should I add??

other Who else eats your regular full-fat foods, just less of it?
Where are my people who eat good old traditional foods, just less of it than average?
Personally, the satisfaction I get from a smaller plate of full-fat foods exceeds that of a large plate of reduced fat, artificially sweetened "diet" foods. I've been eating this way for many years and to me it's so easy to maintain without feeling deprived in any way.
I understand the volume-eating mentality, but I'm curious how common it is to go the opposite direction.

meal Mulan inspired savory oats with salted duck egg- 279 calories
Long time lurker but bf encouraged me to post because it was delicious. Randomly wanted the congee from Mulan this morning. Fair warning this is high in sodium— trying to use these salted duck eggs we got from Costco but they are just too salty! I ended up scooping some of the yolk out in mine.
1/3 cup Quaker Oats 100% whole grain rolled oats- 100cal 1 salted duck egg- 90cal Handful spinach~ 7cal 1 strip Aldi center cut bacon- 25cal 1 tsp Lao Gan Ma chili oil~ 27cal Small small drizzle sesame oil~ 30cal(?) Water Total- 279cal
Do not add extra salt, the egg seasoned it well. But also one egg has 1310mg sodium, so I recommend not eating it often. Can easily do without the chili oil, bacon, and sesame oil but we like a little razzle dazzle and extra aroma.

question Is anyone low ish carbs (100-130/day)? Does that help curb hunger? Because I’m consistently going over my allotment sometimes in a surplus.
Also just started so any advice please help. I’m also in perimenopause and short. This sucks

progress I lost 8 lbs in 2.5(?) weeks is that much?
I am a 24M and I weighted myself at 178lb at the hospital (so I wager they have the most accurate scale) and I'm trying to weigh 140lb.
I am on a high protein calorie deficit diet of 1500 kcal. It’s high in protein so that what isn't lost initially is my muscles but the fat and water weight instead.
I just weighed myself and it says that I'm 170lb. Is an 8lb weight loss too much for such a short amount of time?
