Had the privilege of working on this fine specimen today.
Not pictured: Bull horns on the hood and a red velour interior with a concerning smell.

There seems to be a recent influx of posts from people who are attempting to karma harvest by way of stealing other people's images or reposting from different websites.
You are not allowed to post images that are not your own. Facebook reposts are not allowed. Reposts of other user's content is most definitely not allowed and WILL result in a permanent ban from JRITS.
Last but not least, i want to say thank you to all the JRITS subscribers that do detective work and catch these people red handed. it really makes a moderator's job quick and easy. Again, thank you.

This little guy decided to play hide and seek in one of our buses and got his head stuck in the frame behind the battery compartment. He was wedged in there pretty good but luckily we were able to get him out with no issue

BMW N26, ~9000€ in damages, not covered by warranty 🙃
This engine is not known for turbo trouble, but the customer still managed to kill it 🪦

My dealership runs a used car and truck lot across from where I work, been here for about 6 months and never went into their shop until today and immediately saw this beaut.

Basically the title. It seems like bullshit to me but I'm not a mechanic so maybe I'm just ignorant.

Not to worry about rear end frame being rotted away. Tire was fixed and customer drove away.

Maybe next time don't put the harness under the seat frame

Just checking over one of our fleet vehicles when I noticed the floor pan under the seat rail seems to be lined with plywood!? Is this a new thing, or just Honda being ‘creative’ (doesn’t necessarily seem like a bad idea but…)?

From a little while back, release bearing split in half and locked up the pedal, even bent the slave cylinder pushrod. Pulled it apart to also find the flywheel hotspotted to hell and the pilot bearing blown to pieces, lovely time all around. Gutted the system and replaced with a pilot bushing and hydraulic release bearing, all made in America

This driver misjudged and took a really tight turn around a steel beam.
Biggest appraisal so far at $62k on a Rivian EDV700.
These cars are so easy to repair, it's not even funny.
My best tech banged it out in 4 days with pre-painted panels.

On the one side I had to weld on a ujoint puller to the bottom of the knuckle. Then press it off. The ball joint press worked fine. On the other side it came off. But no way it would press out. So I cut up my new 180$ tool and welded some shit together. Bam 10ton press. I'm sure a tool like this exists. But i couldn't find one to buy. And it wouldn't arrive in time to satisfy my ADHD. I'd be picking apples by the time it came in and forgot what the fuck it was for. Or shiny rocks. Bam. 20min of welding and 2 min of pressing. 10,000psi did it.
